Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java and modern web technologies.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using JavaScript and React.

• Design and optimise relational database structures to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity.

• Integrate applications with backend services, APIs, and databases.

• Implement and maintain software quality assurance standards, processes, and best practices.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites, including unit, integration, and system testing.

• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and performance-related issues.

• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing activities within the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years experience in related skills

• Proven experience in:

  • Java application development

  • JavaScript and React development

  • Full lifecycle Java web application architecture, design, and implementation

  • Relational database design, development, administration, and performance tuning

  • Modern database technologies and concepts

  • Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles and standards

  • Automated testing frameworks and methodologies

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.

  • Experience building and maintaining automated testing suites at unit, integration, and system levels.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments.
