Analyst Programmer (.NET & React, Docker, over $40K)

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, gather and analyse user requirements, perform system analysis and design, and oversee implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance activities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based, client-server, intranet, and internet application systems

• Perform application programming, system integration, user acceptance support, user training, and post-implementation maintenance

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions, including database administration, performance tuning, stored procedures, and optimisation

• Monitor application systems proactively, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions

• Evaluate hardware and software solutions, review technical specifications, and prepare technical recommendations and proposals

• Liaise with users, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of application support and enhancement services

• Develop operational procedures, contingency plans, disaster recovery drills, technical documentation, and project reports

• Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables provided by vendors and contractors meet agreed schedules and quality standards
  

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related disciplines

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in application development, system analysis and design, implementation, testing, deployment, and administration of application systems

• Proven experience in user management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle

• Hands-on experience in several of the following technologies: C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, ReactJS, VBA, Web Services / RESTful APIs, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), SQL Programming and Stored Procedures, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices Architecture

• Experience in project management and project delivery

• Experience in managing external vendors and service providers

• Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms and technologies

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or container-based deployment environments
