Systems Analyst (SDLC, Tsim Sha Tsui)

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor outsourced smart firefighting IT projects and related activities

• Liaise with users to collect and refine business requirements

• Conduct desktop research on modern technologies that can be used for firefighting

• Prepare project documentation and technical writing, including requirements specifications, SA&D Report, UAT Plan, and meeting minutes

• Review project deliverables to ensure that quality standards, timelines and contractual requirements are met

• Prepare technical specifications for the procurement of IT products and services required by the projects

• Provide production support, including troubleshooting urgent issues, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective/preventive actions

• Provide on-call technical support duties and perform overtime work, including work outside of normal office hours, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, as and when necessary

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computing related subjects

• At least four (4) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which at least three (3) years working experience in related area

• Experience in managing outsourced contractor throughout the whole system development life cycle (SDLC)

• Solid understanding of and practical experience with common programming languages and related tools and technologies

• Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English

• Security vetting is required

• Experience with modern technologies will be an advantage

• Experience in deploying Outdoor Surveillance Camera and setting up outdoor ad-hoc networks will be an advantage

• Experience in IT security, including risk assessment, risk management and risk controls will be an advantage
