Systems Analyst (Java, Multiple vacancies, $40-70K)

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, and implement enhancements for CMIS 2 and CMIS HSA systems

• Gather user requirements and prepare functional specifications and technical documentation

• Develop and maintain statistical and management reports based on user requests

• Enhance data interfaces between systems to support data integration and spatial analysis

• Provide application support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for daily system operations

• Support system infrastructure upgrades, including Java platform and Red Hat Linux upgrades

• Enhance and maintain the archiving system to support production data archival requirements

• Support the development and enhancement of mobile application features

• Perform system testing, bug fixing, performance tuning, and deployment activities

• Maintain project deliverables, system documentation, and operational procedures
  

Requirement

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related disciplines

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT application development and maintenance

• Hands-on experience in Java application development and using Java application frameworks (e.g., Apache Struts) and SQL programming

• Minimum 4 years of experience with database development and Microsoft SQL Server

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Web Services development and integration

• Minimum 2 years of experience using JBoss Application Server and JavaServer Faces (JSF)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
