Full Stack Developer / Analyst Programmer (Java, over $40K)

Job description:

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end application features across backend and frontend, covering database interactions, server-side logic (APIs), and user interfaces.

• Work with other application teams to enable cross-application integration.

• Implement strict application security controls across the stack, ensuring robust session management, input validation, and protection against common web vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).

• Leverage secure, local AI coding tools to accelerate development while critically evaluating, refactoring, and taking full ownership of all generated code.

• Conduct thorough cross-domain code reviews with fellow developers to identify logic flaws, security risks, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

• Work closely with DevSecOps and System Analysts to troubleshoot issues, integrate automated testing, and ensure seamless deployments into secure environments.
  

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent

• At least 3 years’ experience in software development experience across both front-end and back-end technologies

• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue/HTMX for frontend; Java, Node.js, or Python for backend)

• At least 3 years’ experience in JAVA Programming and Structured Query Language

• At least 2 years’ experience in:

  • JavaScript Programming

  • Multi-tier System Integration

  • Web Programming

  • Business Process Modeling

  • Quality Assurance
