Data Migration Engineer (SAS/Python/R/VBA, over $40K)

Job Duties:

• Migrate existing applications to modern data platforms, including databases, data warehousing and data governance

• Analyse legacy code (SAS, Python, R, VBA) to understand business logic and data dependencies

• Build and automate data workflows using Python, R and AI Agent systems

• Develop reports using ETL/ELT and data virtualization tools during migration

• Use AI-assisted development tools for code analysis, conversion, documentation and testing

• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related disciplines

• At least 4 years' experience in software development

• Solid experience in application migration and code conversion

• Proficiency in Python, R, SAS, VBA and SQL

• Support deployment and troubleshooting on Linux-based environments

• Familiarity with workflow automation, version control and AI development is highly preferred

• Knowledge of infrastructure architecture, virtualization and containerization technologies is an advantage

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
