System Analyst (Departmental Portal & AI Solutions)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the revamp of the Departmental Portal, including UI/UX design, AI service integration, system development, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the underlying system software and servers of the Departmental Portal across development, testing, and production environments.

• Liaise and collaborate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and operation of the portal.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in application development and support.

• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in the development, implementation, and support of web-based applications and systems (Internet and Intranet).

• Solid experience in the Departmental Portal Programme, preferably using Departmental Portal Hosting Services (DPHS) and Liferay Portal.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing AI-powered solutions, such as intelligent site search, AI assistants, or chatbot technologies.

• Familiarity with Government standards, policies, and application development guidelines is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
