Production Manager - Experiential (Events Management)

About the Role:

The Production Manager will play a critical, hands-on managerial role in the production and technical design, structural execution, and AV/lighting management of our high-end experiential projects and luxury installation across Hong Kong. This position is ideal for a seasoned technical and event expert who understands the meticulous standards of luxury brands, possesses structural production knowledge, and commands strong relationships with production, AV Lighting, logistics and technical vendors. You will bridge the gap between creative design and flawless physical execution, overseeing the entire production lifecycle from initial technical drawings to overnight setups.

Key responsibilities including but not limited to:

•  Manage and follow the entire production process from initial briefing and site measurement through to production, onsite setup, and dismantle, from conception to completion
• Technical Support: Utilize CAD to review, modify, and interpret technical drawings.(Ability to produce 3D renderings is a major advantage)
• Production and Technical Compliance: Read, interpret, and analyse complex Lighting, AV, and Audio plans to ensure vendor alignment and smooth production
•  Manage and oversee the production stages and floor plans, including overnight onsite move-in setups and tight turnaround schedules at premium venues and exhibition halls.
• Industry Network: Leverage existing relationships with Designers and vendors to source the best talent and equipment for specific luxury atmospheres
• Factory & Vendor Collaboration: Analyse technical plans, identify potential structural or material issues, and collaborate directly with factories/vendors to find efficient, high-quality solutions
• Coordinate communication external vendors to ensure smooth project execution
• Track and document project milestones, deliverables, and performance indicators,identifying and addressing potential risks or delays
• Oversee logistical planning, including vendor coordination, production schedules, and on-site event support, ensuring all details are executed
• Provide proactive support and solutions in troubleshooting and resolving project-related issues, escalating to the Management and Project Managers when necessary 

Key Attributes:

• Over 3 years of solid experience in event production, installation, or technical management, preferably within the luxury or lifestyle sector
• Proven track record working on luxury brand events, premium exhibitions, or high-end experiential activations.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings (e.g., CAD and SketchUp, Production Drawing)
• Able to produce 3D renderings is a major advantage
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of project management principles and tools, with experience in budget tracking and timeline management
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to different time zones as needed
• Willingness to travel for business and factory visit
• Available to start immediately or within short notice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with luxury, lifestyle brands and exhibitions
• Familiarity with production, logistics, and event operations
• Knowledge in CAD, technical drawing, and AV lighting for production
• Knowledge on building 3D renderings, stage management and Staging is absolutely an advantage but not a must
