College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

▪ Computer and Data Science: Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Programming, Data Mining, E-Business, Statistics, Emerging Technologies, AI Enhanced Project Management, AI System Auditing, Internet of Things
▪ Engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Building Engineering, Material Engineering, Power Engineering
▪ Construction, Surveying and Environment: Construction Law, Construction Management, Dispute Management in Construction, Statutory Framework in Construction, Building Information Modelling, Geomatics, Green Technologies, Circular Economy, Energy Strategy, Facilities Planning and Management, Research Methods for Construction Project
▪ Health Studies: Chinese Medicine, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology, Human Biology, Health Analytics, Nutrition, Biochemistry

Duties

The appointees will be required to:

(a) engage in teaching during daytime or evening;
(b) undertake teaching-related duties, and
(c) perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a master’s degree in the subject area(s) applied for;
(b) not less than two years of relevant post-qualification teaching and/or industrial experience;
(c) fluency in English, and
(d) good interpersonal skills.

Doctoral degree holders with less experience but a proven research record will also be considered.

Conditions of Service

An attractive remuneration rate will be offered.
