Assistant Manager - Career Support Services

The applicant must posses:

1. a recognised degree, preferably in construction, social science, counseling  or other related disciplines;
2. a minimum of 7 years' post-qualification work experience, highly preferable in construction, training, apprentices programmes or student placement;
3. a high level of integrity and a good sense of responsibility;
4. excellent interpersonal and communication skills and capability of coordinating between various stakeholders;
5. experience or a strong willingness to learn, adopt and embed AI utilities into everyday work processes; and
6. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include:

1. to supervise students / graduates' job placement services, Mentorship Programme, Site Practice Scheme, job fairs, sharing sessions and other career-related activities;
2. to promote, develop and implement the apprenticeship programme;
3. to liaise with trade associations and prospective employers;
4. to maintain the database and prepare relevant reports;
5. to enhance alumni network and activities for trainees and alumni;
6. to monitor and participate in the events if required;
7. to organise and coordinate events, smoothly transitioning from administrative planning to live, hands-on execution and monitoring; and
8. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
