Assistant Manager - Finance

The applicant must possess:

1. a recognised degree in accounting, finance or other related discipline;
2. qualified accountant, with membership of a recognised professional accountancy body;
3. a minimum of 7 years post-qualification work experience in sizable organisations, with no less than 3 years at management level; Experience in public services or non-governmental organistions will be an advantage;
4. strong analytical skills and solid experience in financial planning and analysis;
5. Proven track record of driving process improvement and efficiency throughout the organisation;
6. proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint presentation and ERP applications, Experience in using Business Intelligence (BI) and other system implementation will be an advantage;
7. self-motivated, energetic, adaptable and innovative in problem solving;
8. excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills; and
9. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Duties include:

Reporting to the Manager - Finance of the CIC, the incumbent is expected:

1. to partner with business units to provide actionable advice and drive operational efficiency
2. to support strategic financial forecasting, budgeting, planning and decision making. Leading business plans and managing day to day financial operation;
3. To prepare comprehensive management reports and analyses on variances, trends and comparison, and other ad-hoc analysis to senior management and the CIC, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction and business objectives;
4. to lead the enhancement, development and implementation of BI, ERP and other digital finance systems, etc.;
5.  to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and integrating them into internal processes and procedures;
6. to evaluate the corporate governance practices, perform risk assessments and develop measures and procedures to uphold robust governance standards across the organisation; and
7. to carry out any other duties as assigned by management.
