DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER, BUSINESS

The Position:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the sales and marketing, as well as corporate communication functions

• Lead a team to explore new business opportunities for export credit insurance in support of trade, trade finance and other export transactions

• Draw up and execute annual sales and marketing & corporate communication plans in line with the corporate strategies and objectives

• Lead and drive the sales and marketing effort by providing strategic direction and guidance

• Formulate channel strategy to reach out to the market

• Build and maintain relationship with customers and other external partners

Requirements:

• University degree in business-related disciplines or equivalent qualifications

• At least 15 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in trade credit insurance or finance industry, with at least 5 years of which in senior management position

• Knowledge of export credit insurance and trade finance a plus

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire the sales and marketing & corporate communication team to implement strategies, achieve objectives and deliver a high standard of professional excellence

• Strong communication skills with ability to engage with different stakeholders

• Strong business acumen, resourceful, sound analytical and problem solving skills

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Contributory provident fund scheme, medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
