IT Infrastructure Engineer

The job

• Client: A listed Company
• Position: IT Infrastructure Engineer
• Responsibilities: 
• Maintain and optimize the company’s WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure
• Design and implement firewall solutions (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto) to ensure network security
• Administer server hardware/software, including Windows and Linux systems
• Leverage virtualization technologies (VMware) to enhance efficiency and ensure high availability
• Manage and monitor cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS
• Ensure maximum uptime of email systems and critical IT services
• Implement robust data backup and disaster recovery strategies (e.g., Veeam)
• Strengthen IT security through technologies like EDR, MFA, DLP, and endpoint protection
• Lead infrastructure projects and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders
• Salary: 30-40K+/-. 5-day. Medical. Bonus

Requirements

• Degree in IT or a related field
•  3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure
• Solid expertise in firewall, networking, server/system administration, and virtualization
• Familiar with IT security tools, Active Directory, scripting (PowerShell), and monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUp Gold)
• Project and vendor management experience is a plus
• Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
