Senior Project Manager - E&M (Dept. Head)

The Job

• Client: An Engineering Group
• Position: Senior Project Manager
• Responsibilities: Be the Department Head for overseas environmental infrastructure, water treatment facilities projects and responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the team.
• Project Execution - oversee full project life-cycle from design to construction, T&C, handover. Provide technical direction and resolve engineering issues, risk management to ensure compliance with contractual and environmental requirements while under budget constraints.
• Contractual & Commercial Management - Manage contractual arrangements with external parties; Ensure full compliance with contract terms, specifications, and regulatory requirements; Handle contractual correspondence, dispute resolution, and claims management
• Business Development - Lead internal sales to identify business opportunities in overseas environmental projects; Prepare and review technical & commercial proposals, tender submissions, and presentations.
• $70K+. 5-day work. Medical. Bonus

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
• Professional qualification - MHKIE, CEng, MIET or equivalent
• Min. 15 years' experience in large-scale engineering projects of which 8 years in managerial level.
• Relevant experience in environmental facilities / water treatment plant or related projects is preferred
• Good experience in contractual arrangement and project management at strategic level
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Good command of languages
• Occasional travel
