Production Assistant

About the role

Production Assistant role at Now Baogu Movies, a channel offering high quality and current Asian films. You will perform video editing and assist in video shooting for programs, on-air promos, and online videos, working across the full production process from pre-production to post-production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform video editing and assist in video shooting for programs, on-air promos, and online videos

• Edit, re-size, and optimize video content tailored for various social media platforms and digital spaces

• Work closely with producers, research writers, motion graphic designers, production crew, talents, and related parties

• Assist in the production process and execution, providing support from pre-production preparation to post-production

About you

• Degree or Diploma holder in Film & TV/ Creative Media / Visual Communication or equivalent

• Proficiency in non-linear editing (Final Cut Pro/Premiere) within a Mac-based environment is a must

• Hands-on experience in Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera, MILC operation and on-set shooting

• Knowledge of motion graphic skills (such as After Effects, Photoshop etc) is an advantage

• Familiar with social media trends and video formats

• Fluent in written & spoken English and Chinese

• Creative, self-motivated, good communication and organization skill

• Willing to work on irregular hours and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline

• 1 years or above related working experiences, preferably work experience with TV Stations or production houses

• Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply
