COLLEGE OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES 

Executive Assistant (Ref. 260914011-IE) 

Duties 

The appointee will be required to: 

(a) assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies for the College and its undergraduate programmes; 

(b) assist in coordinating integrated promotional campaigns across online and offline channels, including social media, events, seminars and other outreach activities; 

(c) assist in developing promotional content for the College’s website, social media platforms, and other communication channels; 

(d) assist in providing administrative support for the daily operations of the College; 

(e) assist in providing secretarial support to various committees; 

(f) assist in compiling statistical reports and maintaining databases; and 

(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of College or his/her delegates. 

Qualifications 

Applicants should: 

(a) have a recognised bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related discipline; 

(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua; 

(c) have excellent computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing, and be proficient in graphic design and multimedia tools; 

(d) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and 

(e) be creative, detail-minded, self-motivated and a good team player. 

Preference will be given to those with (i) three or more years of relevant work experience; and (ii) hands-on experience in branding and marketing, corporate communications, public relations, digital content development or event promotion in the tertiary education sector. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for written and computer tests. 

Conditions of Service 

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
