FABRIC SALES ASSISTANT MANAGER - woven & knit fabric / textile manufacturing group / sports & athletic brand exp a plus (TST East)

ROLE MISSION

• To drive sales growth of woven and knit fabric solutions in the global market by serving existing customers and developing new business opportunities with apparel brands, sportswear brands, converters, and garment manufacturers, with a strong focus on sports and athletic brands.

ROLE SUMMARY

• This is an individual contributor sales role based in Hong Kong, with responsibility for global market development for woven and knit fabrics.

• Reporting to the Head of Sales Division, you will manage end-to-end sales activities, including account servicing, new customer development, sampling, quotation, order follow-up, and coordination with internal technical and supply teams.

• The role requires regular travel for customer visits, factory visits, trade fairs, and business development activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets for woven and knit fabrics in the global market.

• Identify, approach, and convert new customers, with a strong focus on sports and athletic brands, sportswear manufacturers, and related supply chain partners.

• Serve and grow existing accounts through regular communication, needs analysis, product recommendations, and proactive account planning.

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs in the global apparel and sportswear market.

• Work closely with technical, product development, and supply chain teams to arrange fabric sampling and testing, provide product recommendations, and ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.

• Prepare quotations, contracts, and sales reports, and maintain accurate records in internal systems.

• Travel regularly for customer meetings, factory visits, trade fairs, and business development activities.

• Handle customer enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Degree holder, preferably in Textiles, Fashion, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in fabric, preferably with exposure to both woven and knit products.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with good Chinese typing skills.

• Experience in handling sports and athletic brand clients, or prior work experience within sports/athletic brands or their supply chain, is a strong advantage.

• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

• Willing and able to travel as required for customer and business development activities.

TERMS & BENEFITS

• 5-day work week.

• 13-month salary plus performance bonus.

• Annual leave: 10 days per year, increasing by 1 day each year up to a maximum of 20 days.
