FASHION DESIGNER – swimwear brand owner and manufacturer (Lai Chi Kok/5 days work)

• We are looking for a Fashion Designer – Swimwear to join our Design Team and support the development of our seasonal collections.

ROLE MISSION

• You will support the development of commercially successful swimwear collections for our own swimwear brands and international customers.You will turn design concepts and global trends into creative product designs, prepare production-ready design documents, and work closely with cross-functional teams from concept to final sample.

ROLE SUMMARY

• You will report to the Fashion Design Manager and work within a Design Team of five members.You will assist in developing seasonal swimwear collections, prepare design sketches and tech packs, and work closely with merchandising, sourcing, pattern making, and sampling teams.

• You will also support customer presentations and help ensure that designs meet creative, technical, and commercial requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Report to the Fashion Design Manager and work closely with a Design Team of five members.

• Support the design development of seasonal swimwear collections for the Company’s own swimwear brands and international customers.

• Research global fashion trends, fabrics, prints, colours, and swimwear styles.

• Create design sketches, mood boards, and product concepts.

• Prepare technical drawings and production-ready tech packs.

• Select fabrics, trims, prints, and colour palettes with relevant teams.

• Work with pattern makers and sampling teams to develop prototypes and final samples.

• Attend fittings and support design revisions to improve fit, construction, and quality.

• Support design presentations to international customers and incorporate feedback.

• Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely collection delivery.

• Contribute creative ideas to strengthen the Company’s swimwear brands and design capabilities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related discipline.

• At least 3–5 years of relevant fashion design experience.

• Swimwear, lingerie, activewear, or close-to-body garment design experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of garment fit, fabrics, trims, and construction.

• Good knowledge of global fashion trends and commercial design.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Experience with 3D design tools, such as CLO, is a plus.

• Experience with AI-supported design workflows is a plus.

• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in English.

• Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
