Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager (HVAC/MVAC)

Responsibilities

• Handle HVAC / MVAC repair, maintenance, minor works and A&A project enquiries.

• Conduct site inspections and identify practical technical solutions.

• Prepare competitive quotations based on site conditions, client requirements and subcontractor prices.

• Source, compare and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

• Maintain good relationships with property management clients and key accounts.

• Follow up submitted quotations and support conversion of opportunities into confirmed works.

• Provide professional advice to clients on repair, replacement and system improvement options.

• Coordinate awarded works with internal teams and subcontractors.

• Identify scope gaps, cost risks and practical constraints before quotation submission.

• Maintain cost references and subcontractor database for common minor works items.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in HVAC / MVAC repair, maintenance, minor works and A&A projects.

• Strong experience in quotation preparation, costing and subcontractor coordination.

• Familiar with HVAC / MVAC systems including FCU, AHU, PAU, ductwork, chilled water pipework, pumps, valves, controls and T&C.

• Good commercial sense and ability to prepare competitive yet practical quotations.

• Good network with HVAC / MVAC subcontractors and suppliers.

• Experience in serving property management, facility management or existing building clients is preferred.

• Good client communication and relationship management skills.

• Able to work independently, follow up proactively and solve problems practically.

• Good command of Chinese and English.

• Candidates with stronger client management and business development experience may be considered as Assistant Manager.
