Senior Business Analyst

A Senior Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that requirement backlogs and analyses successfully feed into complex technology projects spanning multiple business units or geographies. This role requires guiding Product Owners in roadmap development, epic creation, and user story writing while driving Agile team performance metrics. Additionally, they assure delivery throughout the entire project lifecycle and work to manage risk exposure while fostering continuous improvement across all disciplines.

You will do the following in this job:

• Assures delivery through the entire life-cycle of the project of user requirements through to live

• Provides expertise in Agile engineering practices (eg Scrum, Kanban, LEAN) as framework experience

• Works within critical and complex Technology projects - likely to span across multiple business units and / or geographies

• Supports and guides the Product Owner to create / evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog

• Creates analysis of customer journeys and product functionality

• Helping define and track metrics and Key Performance Indicators for the product

• Drives the Agile Team performance and outcome metrics as required

• Engages with senior technology project and technology programme managers as well as product owners

• Understands risk exposure to the financial institutes and help senior colleagues manage it

• Assures delivery through the entire life-cycle of the project of user requirements through to live

• Drives measurable continuous improvement into all delivery environments across all disciplines
  
  

We are hiring talent like you:

• At least 6-years work experience in IT/ Mobile application development. Exposure in any of the retail business, e-commerce, finance, insurance industry will be an advantage

• Good command in English, Cantonese Mandarin

• Excellent business analytical, verbal, and written communications skills

• Passionate about creating experiences and bringing insights to clients through research, analytics, design, and delivery

• Experience in a client-facing position at an agency or consulting firm or equivalent experience in product management

• Practical experience in Agile/ SCRUM methodologies alike

• PMP Certification holder will be an advantage

• Proven experience in building large-scale digital services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered designs and able to identify opportunities throughout the design process

• Ability to inform, educate and influence managers and peers to support recommendations

• Advanced writing and communication skills to translate complex end to end process, regulation, and market practice into an easily understood form

• Experience of the leadership of other BAs
