Operation and Maintenance Officer (IT)

Responsibilities:

• Provide operation and maintenance support on various financial systems (stock / trading system, and back office system etc)

• Provide application support to business departments to ensure normal operation for the business

• Liaise with application vendors / HKEX on any production issue, work with them on solutions proposals and issue fixes

• Monitor the healthiness of systems, report and troubleshoot irregularities & problems

• Perform trading system rollout, system upgrade and UAT

• Ensure all daily batch jobs are executed successfully and completed on time

• Maintain and ensure systems smooth operations in both front and back office environment

• To perform ad hoc projects as required
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or relevant discipline

• Minimum 1 Year working experience in financial institution background

• Familiar with the Hong Kong / China securities or futures transaction / business, as well as Bloomberg and other applications

• Experience in supporting MSSQL, MYSQL, Windows, Linux and Networking, but not limited to installation and SQL coding

• Familiar with the deployment and installation of Web, Java base platforms

• Ability to work under pressure

• Occasional shift work may be required

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua

• Independent, self-initiative and good interpersonal skills
