(Senior) Health Service Officer (Registered Nurse in Breast Health Centre)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring the daily operation of the Centre including screening, diagnostic service delivery and accurate data filing

• Perform direct clinical breast examinations for clients and support physicians during consultations and procedures and carry out clinical tasks

• Supervise, mentor and manage the performance of nursing staff in similar clinical duties

• Perform intravenous puncture safely and efficiently

• Provide informational support to clients on breast health and screening services

• Deliver public educational programmes on breast care, with a focus on Early Detection for Breast Cancer, including health talks, workshops, community events and collaborative activities with Fundraising and Communications Team

• Responsible for developing and implementing promotional initiatives to raise public awareness of the Centre and its services. To meet agreed service utilization targets, including service promotion, breast health campaigns, preparation of publications, website content and promotional pamphlets

• Maintain inventory of consumable supplies and the service records for medical and screening equipment

• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor
  

 Requirements

• Holder of valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong

• Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience

• Fluent in spoken Cantonese and English

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Immediate available preferred

• Candidate with more experience will consider Senior Health Service Officer
