Project Nature:

• Electrical and Mechanical Services Trading Fund (EMSTF) has implemented the current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, named as Corporate Computer System (CCS) using SAP ECC 6.0.

• The SAP ECC 6.0 modules used include Finance Accouting & Controlling, Sales & Distribution, Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, Project System, and Human Capital Management. Besides the SAP ECC 6.0 GUI, some of the modules are also available in web-interface implemented using SAP Fiori.

• The system serves over 2,000 users from Finance, Human Resource, and seven Strategic Business units.

• Due to end-of-support of current SAP ECC 6.0, a replacement project is initiated.

• The project is currently under the preparation stage of tendering for the procurement of the CCS Replacement total solution.

Duties:

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD;

• To participate in tender specifications, solution evaluation, tender documentation and liaison work related to the procurement of a total solution for CCS replacement;

• To perform proposal vetting, review, assessment and tender evaluation activities;

• To assist in contract administration activities;

• To assist in project planning, project management & coordination and contract administrative works related to the project;

• To assist in vendor management, internal teams' collaboration and liaison to facilitate smooth execution of project;

• To review project deliverables and ensure compliance to standards and quality requirements; and

• To perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• The successful candidate may be required to work on irregular hours including Saturdays, Sundays and General Holidays.

• Other job responsibilities stated in the clauses 3.1.4 of Part VI - Specifications of the T26 Contract (Annex II).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Information Engineering or related IT disciplines.

• Have at least eight (8) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which five (5) years of experience as a Systems Analyst and at least two (2) years of experience with SAP Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system.

• Solid experience in implementation, administration or support on SAP ERP system preferably with Sales & Distribution, Plant Maintenance or Project System module.

• Experience in Government projects and familiar with Government standards preferred.

• Experience in IT procurement and tendering procedures required.

• Extensive experience in system analysis and design, business process modelling, systems design and application / system implementation.

• Well-organized, analytical, open-minded and self-initiated.

• Good team player and problem solver.

• Good communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese.

Technical Skills:

• At least 4 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management;

• At least 3 years' experience in Enterprise Resource Planning System;

• At least 2 years' experience in IT Security;

• At least 1 year's experience in Data Warehouse;

• 2 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support is an advantage;

• 2 years' experience in Technical Architectural Support is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

• At least 1 year's experience in IT procurement;

• 2 years' experience in Business Process Modeling is an advantage;

• 2 years' experience in contract administration is an advantage;

• 2 years' experience in project management is an advantage;

• 1 year's experience in work with the Government is an advantage;

• 1 year's experience in vendor management is an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

• At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
