ROLE MISSION

To provide strategic financial leadership that positions the company as a competitive leader in the Hong Kong FMCG market by driving sustainable business growth, maximising profitability, and optimising operational efficiency across the organisation.
You will transform finance from a traditional reporting function into a strategic business partner that actively influences decision-making, identifies growth opportunities, manages financial risks, and enables the company to capitalise on market opportunities.
As a core member of the Management Team, you will shape the company's financial trajectory, strengthen corporate governance, build a high-performing finance team, and act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership in achieving the company's long-term vision and expansion goals.

ROLE SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is a key member of the Management Team
Lead the finance function, oversee financial strategy and operations, and act as a trusted business partner to senior management
Transform finance from a traditional reporting function into a strategic business driver
Shape the company's financial trajectory and guide long-term business planning
The role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced FMCG environment
Influence critical business decisions through financial insights and commercial analysis
Lead business transformation and process improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as a core member of the Management Team, contributing to overall business strategy
Partner with the CEO and senior management to provide financial insights and support key decisions
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
Oversee full spectrum of finance functions including accounting, reporting, treasury, and tax
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
Monitor business performance and drive initiatives to improve profitability and efficiency
Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities, including FX risk
Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and financial governance
Provide commercial analysis on product, customer, and business performance
Support business transformation and process improvement initiatives
Manage external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and advisors
Lead, develop, and build a high-performing finance team

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
Solid experience in financial management, planning & analysis, and treasury
Proven track record in leading finance teams
Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience in FMCG, trading, distribution, or import/export is highly preferred
Familiar with ERP systems
