PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - EV Cable / Power Cord / Transformer Manufacturer (Shenzhen/5 Days Work)

• We are an OEM/ODM manufacturer and solution provider specializing in power cords, EV cables, wiring harnesses, transformers, adapters, and switch mode power supplies.
• Our products are supplied to international markets, including the UK, US, EU, and China.
• Factories location: Shenzhen & SE Asia

• Lead the end-to-end development of cable, power cord, transformer, and related electrical products from concept to mass production, ensuring alignment with market needs, quality standards, cost targets, and the Company's strategic objectives.

• You will lead a 10–15 member R&D team in Shenzhen and collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, Project Management, Sourcing, Production, and QA to deliver competitive and manufacturable products on time and within budget.
• The role requires strong technical leadership in electrical product development, with hands-on involvement in product design, pilot production, and customer technical engagement.

• Lead the Product Development team in designing and developing new electrical products and systems from concept to mass production.
• Work closely with Marketing and Product Management to define product specifications and development targets.
• Define system architecture, technical direction, and validation plans for new product development.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Sourcing, Production, and QA to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Develop product and technology roadmaps aligned with the Company's strategic direction.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers and assist the Sales Team in business development.
• Manage a multidisciplinary engineering team covering hardware and mechanical development.
• Monitor relevant international certification standards and ensure compliance throughout the development process.
• Support pilot production and ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and scalability.
• Drive continuous product improvement to maintain competitiveness in global markets.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of product development experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Solid experience in EV cables, power cords, transformers, or wiring harness manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong technical background in electrical product design and development.
• Experience in embedded hardware development is an advantage.
• Experience working in China and managing PRC-based engineering teams is preferred.
• Proficient in Putonghua and English.
• Self-driven, market-aware, and adaptable to evolving industry requirements.

• 5-day work week
• Work in Shenzhen factory
• Working arrangement: Attend Monday morning meetings at the Hong Kong office, travel to the Shenzhen factory thereafter; return to Hong Kong on Friday evening.
• Company provides one apartment located outside the factory, within a 5–10 minute walking distance.
