Role Mission

To lead mechanical engineering development for plastic parts and related product structures, ensuring high-quality design, smooth project execution, and successful mass production for connected device and consumer electronic products.

Role Summary

This position manages a team of mechanical engineers and works closely with production, suppliers, and customers to deliver product designs from concept through production.
The role covers project planning, design verification, material cost control, troubleshooting, budget follow-up, and engineering documentation control.
The role is based in Dongguan and requires strong technical knowledge in plastic materials, injection molding, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise a team of mechanical engineers in developing product designs for plastic parts.
Coordinate with production teams and suppliers for project development.
Formulate project plans and arrange necessary resources for project implementation.
Manage design verification, material cost control, and troubleshooting.
Monitor and manage the entire product development process from concept inception to production.
Liaise with customers on product specifications.
Handle engineering documents, control budget, and follow up on outstanding projects.

Ideal Candidate

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in consumer electronic product manufacturing.
Familiar with engineering drawing software and able to read mold-flow analysis data.
Strong understanding of plastic material characteristics, plastic injection mold manufacturing, and different product manufacturing processes.
Proficient in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.

Terms and Benefits

Mon to Fri, 8:00am to 5:30pm. 5-day work week.
