Role Mission

You will support the trading team in driving sugar sales across Hong Kong, mainland China, and Southeast Asia through effective coordination, market support, and account management.
This role plays an important part in maintaining smooth sales operations, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Team Head, the successful candidate will be part of a 4-member sales team and will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support trading activities. The role involves market analysis, customer follow-up, trade coordination, and business development support to help achieve company sales targets.

Job Description

Support the trading of sugar products across Hong Kong, mainland China, and Southeast Asia.
Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify trading opportunities.
Maintain close relationships with existing customers and support the development of new accounts.
Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth trade execution and follow-up.
Liaise with transport, shipping, insurance, and other related service providers as needed.
Prepare sales reports, market updates, and supporting documents for business reviews.
Support business development efforts to achieve and exceed sales targets and budgets.
Handle daily customer enquiries and provide timely follow-up and problem-solving support.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree holder in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
1–3+ years of experience in international trading, preferably in commodities or food trading.
Familiar with international trading practices, including transport, shipping, and insurance arrangements.
Strong sales drive, negotiation skills, and commercial awareness.
Organized, proactive, customer-oriented, and able to solve problems effectively.
Good written and spoken communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
