Role Mission
- To ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of the group's financial operations by managing the full set of Hong Kong accounts and overseeing PRC financial reporting.
- You will play a critical role in maintaining robust financial controls, supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, and strengthening cross-border collaboration between Hong Kong and mainland China operations.
Role Summary
- This is a hands-on accounting position where you will manage the full set of accounts for the Hong Kong office while also reviewing and monitoring PRC accounts to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial control across the group.
- You will work in a small, collaborative accounting team of 3 members where your contributions are valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Accounting Manager and support daily accounting operations
- Manage full set of accounts for the Hong Kong office including general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable and accounts payable, month-end closing and financial reporting
- Review and monitor PRC accounts to ensure compliance with group policies and local regulations
- Conduct regular travel to Guangdong for on-site review of accounting processes, internal controls and workflow efficiency
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and professional parties as required
- Assist in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of management reports
Ideal Candidate
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 5+ years of accounting experience with solid exposure to full set of accounts in manufacturing or trading companies
- Experience in garment trims, textiles, or related industries is an advantage
- Familiar with PRC accounting practices and experienced in handling PRC accounts
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with PRC teams
- Language proficiency: English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
