KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER | Contract Logistics | Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain Solution (Yuen Long MTR/5 days work)

Role Mission

• This role focuses on handling and managing key customer accounts within the Contract Logistics business across Hong Kong and Mainland China. 
• The position is responsible for strengthening client partnerships, ensuring service excellence, and driving sustainable growth within existing accounts.

Role Summary

• Reporting to Operations Director, this role plays a critical part in account management, client retention, and revenue growth. 
• This role will focus in strengthening relationships and driving growth across key accounts referred by global offices.
• You will work closely with internal teams, regional offices, and external stakeholders to deliver tailored logistics solutions, ensure smooth operations, and support long-term commercial success.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle and manage key customer accounts within the Contract Logistics business across Hong Kong and China.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring high service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships and understand their business needs and logistics requirements.
• Identify and drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Develop and execute account plans to grow revenue and strengthen customer loyalty.
• Coordinate pricing, service offerings, and solution design to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with overseas agents and global offices to support account growth and service coordination.
• Prepare client presentations, account reviews, proposals, and business reports.
• Monitor account performance, customer feedback, and service issues, and follow up on resolutions in a timely manner.
• Support tender, RFQ, bidding, and contract renewal activities for key accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activities, pipeline opportunities, and account performance.
• Support ad hoc commercial projects and business initiatives as assigned.

Ideal Candidates

• Tertiary education preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management, customer management, sales, or logistics-related roles.
• Experience in contract logistics, freight forwarding, transport, or integrated supply chain solutions is preferred.
  
• Solid understanding of goods flow and cross-border logistics between China, Hong Kong, and overseas markets.
• Strong knowledge of the Hong Kong and China logistics market.
• Knowledge of tender, RFQ, or bidding processes is an advantage.
• Proven track record in managing and growing existing accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen and customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Willing to travel occasionally as required.
