Role Mission

Responsible for handling the full set of accounts of a Hong Kong trading company independently.
As the sole accounting staff in the Hong Kong office, this role is key to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting the overall finance function with a high level of ownership and responsibility.

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for handling the full set of accounts for the Hong Kong office independently.
The successful candidate will also support annual audit coordination, manage day-to-day accounting operations, and assist with related company secretarial matters as needed.

Job Description

Handle the full set of accounts independently.
Maintain accurate accounting records and perform daily bookkeeping.
Prepare accounting entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
Support the preparation of management reports and financial information.
Liaise with internal teams and external parties on accounting-related matters.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting requirements.
Liaise and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.

Ideal Candidate

Tertiary education in Accounting or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of working experience in the accounting field.
At least 2 years of experience handling full set accounts.
Experience in a trading company is a strong advantage.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
Knowledge of company secretarial matters is a plus.
Proficient in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as the only accounting staff in the Hong Kong office.
