LOGISTICS OFFICER - European third party logistics service / Tuen Mun MTR / 5 days work

COMPANY OVERVIEW

• We are a European-owned 3PL and 4PL service provider specialising in end-to-end supply chain and e-commerce solutions for luxury fashion brands and retailers across China and the Asia-Pacific region.

• Our Hong Kong office supports customers with goods for the Asian market, while our Distribution Centre manages the complete logistics process, from goods receipt and inventory handling to final delivery.

• We work closely with international fashion brands, retailers, logistics service providers and other supply chain partners to deliver reliable, flexible and efficient logistics solutions.

ROLE MISSION

• The main purpose of this role is to support logistics and distribution operations for a European fashion brand, with a focus on retail-chain support and regional distribution across China and Asia.

• You will coordinate logistics activities, support project implementation and ensure smooth communication between the customer, service providers and internal teams. 

• You will help ensure that shipments, inventory, documentation and store-opening projects are completed accurately and on time.

ROLE SUMMARY

• You will manage daily logistics support for one European fashion brand covering the China and Asia markets.

• In addition to routine logistics coordination, you will be responsible for project-management activities related to new store openings, logistics implementation and operational improvement projects. 

• You will work closely with the customer, logistics service providers and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment flow, accurate inventory control and efficient retail distribution across Asia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support non-merchandise warehouse operations in Greater China and Southeast Asia.

• Coordinate logistics matters between the customer’s supply chain team, service providers and internal teams.

• Manage and follow up on regional logistics service requests.

• Track international and domestic non-merchandise shipments.

• Ensure service providers submit regular and accurate inventory reports.

• Check and validate shipment documents submitted by service providers.

• Manage logistics projects related to new store openings in Greater China and Southeast Asia.

• Prepare project plans, timelines, task lists and follow-up records for new store-opening projects.

• Coordinate with customers, service providers, warehouse teams, transport companies and local partners during project implementation.

• Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding actions to ensure timely completion.

• Provide on-site and off-site support for new store openings on behalf of the customer.

• Identify operational issues during projects and coordinate corrective actions.

• Prepare project updates and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.

• Travel occasionally within the Asia-Pacific region to support the logistics operations of newly opened stores.

• Review and validate monthly invoices from service providers.

• Maintain accurate logistics, project and operational records.

• Support process improvements and other logistics projects as assigned.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience with a logistics service provider, 3PL/4PL company, distribution centre or related organisation.

• Project-management experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, store openings or distribution projects is required.

• Experience in planning, coordinating and following up on projects from start to completion.

• Experience in 4PL operations or managing multiple third-party logistics providers is an advantage.

• Experience supporting international fashion brands and retail distribution in Hong Kong, China or the Asia-Pacific region is a plus.

• Good knowledge of inventory-management systems and distribution networks.

• Good understanding of regional logistics networks and cross-border supply chain issues in Asia.

• Knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documents and compliance requirements for regional distribution.

• Good written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Cantonese is required; Mandarin is an advantage.

• Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.

• Willing to travel within the Asia-Pacific region when required.
