Manager (Occupational Safety & Health)

Established in 1963, Hong Kong Baptist Hospital is a Christian and non-profit making private hospital dedicated to serving the public and striving to achieve our mission of “In the service of man, for the glory of God”. To cope with our continuing growth, we would like to invite high calibre candidates to join our Hospital.

Manager (Occupational Safety & Health)                                              

• Degree holder and Qualifications in healthcare professionals like nursing, allied health is preferable

• Diploma or Certificate holder in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or equivalent, a higher professional qualification in OSH is desirable

• Minimum 8 years of working experience at supervisory / managerial level with 3 years of supervisory/managerial level in clinical settings on OSH is preferable

• In-charge of developing, implementing and reviewing of OSH policies & procedures, strategic plan, Safety Management System, training programs and Return-to-work program

• Lead and conduct workplace inspections and OSH audits, perform analytical reviews, and recommend improvement measures

• Responsible for promoting OSH culture across the hospital and managing OSH promotional activities and wellness programs

• Good experience in identifying hazards and implementing injury prevention strategies

• Strong communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills to organize and able to work independently

• Proficiency in MS Office, Chinese word processing and data analysis

• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
