We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU), where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community, and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities 

• Support the development and implementation of commercial strategies, project delivery plans and contract procurement strategies for Capital Works projects 
• Assist in the development and implementation of NEC contract terms and related commercial procedures  
• Assist in the tendering process, including peer review of tender documents, analysis of tender submissions and compilation of recommendations leading to award 
• Provide support in driving the digitalisation of commercial practices and exploring AI applications in commercial processes to enhance work efficiency and accuracy 
• Provide commercial support on matters leading to potential disputes 

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering / Quantity Surveying or a related discipline 
• A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in major infrastructure projects, with in-depth knowledge of and experience in estimating and contract administration 
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred 
• Accreditation in NEC Project Management or experience in NEC forms of contract is an advantage 
• Good interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills 
• Creative mindset with good presentation skills 
• Strong interest in exploring AI tools and relevant applications 

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
