Senior Quality Assurance Manager (Operations) (Ref : 260000WR)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain an independent management audit system to ensure effectiveness of policies, achievement of objectives, and compliance with statutory and railway operational requirements

• Establish and implement audit review frameworks to ensure management systems are controlled, effective, and compliant with applicable requirements

• Develop and execute the annual audit plan, coordinate audit programmes, and lead a small team to deliver professional and high-quality audits

• Ensure compliance of contractors’ work with divisional and statutory requirements by managing and monitoring the contractor audit programme

• Analyse audit findings, identify control deficiencies, and provide recommendations to senior management to mitigate risks and enhance operational effectiveness

• Ensure high audit quality standards by developing the team with broad knowledge in railway operations, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement

• Conduct management system audit reviews to ensure compliance with applicable standards, statutory and operational requirements, and ongoing suitability of the management systems
   

Requirements:

• Degree in Management / Engineering / Engineering Science or a recognised professional qualification in a relevant discipline

• A minimum 12 years’ relevant working experience in internal or external Supplier Quality Engineer auditing in a sizeable organisation, of which at least 5 years at managerial level

• Possession of membership of a professional institution or registered status of a relevant discipline

• Knowledge of safety, quality, environment management system and other management system standards and practices such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO55001 is preferred

• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and reporting writing skills
