Network Infrastructure Engineer (IPS, VPN, Over $60K)

Job description:

• To streamline network configuration and adjustments in support of ongoing cloud-hosted departmental services.

• To deliver technical support and maintain high availability and stability across the network infrastructure.

• To provide technical assistance for network improvement initiatives.

• To manage change control processes for the administration, operation, upgrading, and configuration of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, remote access servers, and related equipment.

• To conduct problem diagnosis, performance optimization, and ad-hoc troubleshooting for network devices.

• To oversee acceptance testing, monitor task performance, and ensure quality assurance for all project outputs.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent

• At least 2 years’ experience in:

  • Authentication Server

  • Checkpoint Firewall Administration

  • Internet Firewall Technical Support

  • Remote Access Server

  • Router Configuration

  • Virtual LAN/LAN Switching

  • Virtual Private Network

• At least 1 years' experience in Intrusion Prevention System and Network & System Management

• Experience in supporting application delivery controllers, and traffic monitoring and management devices

• Experience in conducting quality control on change procedure
