Officer – Information Technology (Examination Operations) (Ref: IT/09/345)
The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-for-profit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. We are looking for talented people to join hands with the HKEAA family in contributing to the provision of valid, reliable and equitable examinations and a range of assessment services to meet the educational and societal needs of the community. Applications are now invited for the following post:
Officer – Information Technology (Examination Operations) (Ref: IT/09/345)
Duties: The appointee will support examination operations and IT service delivery. He/she will be responsible to coordinate the deployment and setup of IT equipment, provide operational and user support during examinations, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), liaise with stakeholders, and support procurement, tender preparation and logistics activities. He/she will also assist in project implementation and administration, device management, and the maintenance of project and operational documentation. The role will perform work across multiple venues in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, and outside normal working hours when required.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines;
(b) At least 5 years of relevant working experience in IT operations, project administration, or service delivery;
(c) Experience in UAT, procurement, vendor management, or examination operations is an advantage;
(d) Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills; and
(e) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English; proficient in Putonghua is an advantage.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
