PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - EV Cable / Power Cord / Transformer / Consumer Electronics Manufacturer (Tsuen Wan/Dongguan/5 Days Work)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead the Product Development team to design and develop new electrical products from concept to mass production.

• Develop power cords, EV cables, wiring harnesses, transformers, adapters, switch-mode power supplies and related consumer electronics products.

• Work with Marketing and Product Management to define product specifications and development targets.

• Define system architecture, technical direction and validation plans for new products.

• Coordinate with Project Management, Sourcing, Production and QA to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Develop product and technology roadmaps aligned with company strategy.

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.

• Provide technical and product development support to help the Sales Team secure new business.

• Manage a multidisciplinary engineering team covering hardware and mechanical development.

• Monitor international certification standards and ensure compliance during development.

• Support pilot production and optimise designs for manufacturability and scalability.

• Drive continuous product improvement to maintain competitiveness in global markets.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years product development experience.

• 5+ years team management experience.

• Strong experience in EV cables, power cords, transformers or wiring harnesses.

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical product design and development.

• Experience in consumer electronics product development is an advantage.

• Knowledge in embedded hardware development is an advantage.

• Good spoken and written English and Putonghua.

• Self-driven, market-aware and adaptable to changing industry needs.
