PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – GMP pharmaceutical manufacturer (Yuen Long MTR / 5 days work)

• We are now looking for a Production Professional to join our production team.

ROLE MISSION

• To oversee daily production floor operations and ensure production schedules are met

• To maintain product quality and ensure compliance with GMP standards

• To support the Production Manager in leading, training and managing the production team

ROLE SUMMARY

• Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee daily production operations and coordinate on-site resources. 

• The role is responsible for ensuring production quality, safety and GMP compliance, managing the production team, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee daily operations on the production floor

• Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment to meet production schedules

• Implement and monitor quality control measures

• Ensure all production activities comply with GMP standards

• Maintain a high level of product quality

• Manage the production team, including recruitment, training, daily work scheduling and performance evaluation

• Review and approve raw materials and production-related documents

• Assist the Production Manager in analysing production performance

• Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Drive Lean Manufacturing activities such as 5S and TPM

• Use Lean tools to identify problems and implement practical solutions

IDEAL CANDIDATES

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related subject

• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a GMP environment

• Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience is an advantage

• Good understanding of pharmaceutical formulations, such as solid dosage forms, oral liquids and ointments

• Strong communication, coordination and team-management skills

• Proficient in English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage
