PROGRAM MANAGER – HK listed electronic manufacturing service (EMS) (Guangdong/5 days work)

ROLE MISSION

• To lead key customer programmes from New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production, ensuring quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction targets are achieved.

• You will lead a team of Programme Managers and cross-functional teams to manage major customer accounts, project deliverables and business growth opportunities.

ROLE SUMMARY

• This is a senior programme management role responsible for major customer programmes within a sizeable EMS organisation.

• You will lead a team of Program Professionals and work with dedicated staff from engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing engineering and other departments.

• You will manage the full programme lifecycle, from RFQ and quotation through NPI, mass production, continuous improvement and customer relationship management.

• This role is suitable for an experienced programme management professional with strong customer-facing skills, commercial knowledge and leadership experience in the EMS industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and manage a team of Program Professionals.

• Take full responsibility for major program deliverables, including quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Manage products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to mass production.

• Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing engineering and other supporting departments.

• Manage customer relationships and act as the main point of contact for key customers.

• Understand customer needs, requirements and expectations, and ensure they are met throughout the programme.

• Lead customer negotiations and manage customer communication, meetings and reviews.

• Manage RFQs, quotations, contract and agreement reviews.

• Identify program risks and develop action plans for risk management and cost recovery.

• Monitor program performance, project schedules, milestones and financial results.

• Drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, delivery and operational efficiency.

• Provide regular program updates and strategic recommendations to Senior Management.

• Lead, train, mentor and develop Program Professionals and team members.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary education or above in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.

• At least 10 years of managerial and solid programme management experience in a sizeable EMS company.

• Strong experience in customer negotiation and customer interface management.

• Solid experience in RFQ and quotation management, contract and agreement reviews, risk management and cost recovery.

• Strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) management.

• Good commercial awareness and ability to balance customer needs, cost, quality and delivery.

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Able to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple programs at the same time.

• Proficient in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
