PROJECT ENGINEER / SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER – GMP pharmaceutical manufacturer (Tuen Mun MTR / 5 days work)

• We are now setting up our second factory in Hong Kong and are looking for a talented engineering professional to join our engineering team.

ROLE MISSION

• To support the Engineering Manager in setting up a new production plant.

• To ensure that new facilities, production systems and utilities are built and operated according to project requirements and GMP standards.

ROLE SUMMARY

• You will report to the Engineering Manager.

• You will prepare facility layouts and engineering designs.

• You will work with consultants, contractors and internal teams.

• You will support project budgets and resource plans.

• You will prepare GMP documents for new facilities and equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support the Engineering Manager in setting up a new production plant.

• Prepare layouts and designs for new facilities, production systems and utilities.

• Ensure designs meet user requirements, technical specifications and GMP standards.

• Work with consultants and contractors to keep projects on schedule and maintain good construction quality.

• Support the Engineering Manager in preparing project budgets and resource plans.

• Follow up on equipment purchasing and other project matters.

• Manage project documents, drawings and materials, including GMP documents for facilities and equipment.

• Prepare and submit documents to government departments when required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Degree or Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Engineering or a related subject.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or health-product manufacturing facilities.

• Experience in facility construction, equipment management or maintenance is required.

• Experience in setting up new facilities, production systems and utilities is an advantage.

• Experience in preparing and submitting documents to government departments is preferred.

• Proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or health-product equipment is an advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.
