Project Manager /Network Manager (over $70K, Gov’t project)

Job Description:

• To provide technical advice to Senior Management on the use of the IT Infrastructure .

• Lead planning and development of network and infrastructure architecture.

• Assess existing systems and define improvement roadmaps.

• Review and endorse infrastructure designs and standards.

• Analyze technology trends and evaluate their impact on infrastructure strategy.

• Provide technical advice to senior management on IT infrastructure and investment decisions.

Requirement Details:

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 8 years of post-qualification experience, including a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role and at a comparable capacity.

• Experience in data center operations and management.

• A strong understanding of networking concepts, including Routing, Switching, LAN/WAN, STP, HSRP, ARP, VLAN, Inter-VLAN Routing, OSPF, and BGP.

• Experience in supporting or implementing DevSecOps practices is desirable.

• Familiarity with network management tools and industry-standard operational best practices.

• Experience in government procurement and tendering processes for IT services or equipment is desirable.
