QUALITY ENGINEER / ASST QUALITY ENGINEER (2 vacancies) - consumer electronic & electrical product - Europe trading & sourcing office (Mongkok)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

• We are a European trading company with over 50 years’ experience in consumer electronics, small home appliances and consumer hardgoods.

• Our Hong Kong office is the Asia-Pacific hub. It manages sourcing and supplier management for customers in Europe and other global markets.

ROLE MISSION

• Support the Quality team in product testing, documentation and supplier quality follow-up. Help ensure products meet customer, safety and regulatory requirements before shipment.

ROLE SUMMARY

• You will join a Quality team of 8–10 members. 

• You will support daily QA operations, prepare test samples, conduct product testing and inspections, maintain quality records and follow up corrective actions with engineers and suppliers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Handle daily QA documents, records and filing.

• Upload test reports, compliance documents and technical files to internal systems.

• Manage quotations, test-fee enquiries and laboratory bookings.

• Prepare test samples, test set-ups and testing protocols for electronics and hardgoods.

• Take part in product testing, evaluation and quality inspections.

• Help engineers identify defects and follow up corrective actions.

• Support quality improvement projects and supplier follow-up.

• Support ad-hoc QA tasks and projects assigned by supervisors.

• Travel to Mainland China, mainly factory sites, when required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary eduaction in Engineering, Quality Management, Electronics or a related discipline.

• 1+ years quality, technical, engineering, compliance or related experience. Experience in consumer electronics or electrical products is a plus. 

• Fresh graduates with quality, engineering, technical or related internship experience will be considered.

• Experience in equipment calibration and knowledge of HOKLAS accreditation requirements is an advantage.

• Good time-management skills and able to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Good spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
