Electrical Engineer (Contract) (Ref.: EE/22/1063)

Job Duties:

• Coordinate with relevant parties especially relating to interface with superstructure work, mechanical work, gas related activity, site possession, access route;

• Check and review the requirements and installation details of equipment;

• Study and review the installation drawings and procedure and provide technical advice for the installation work;

• Perform as a leader role for supervision of erection, T&C work of electrical and equipment;

• Coordinate and work closely with the erection contractor for preparation, planning and actual implementation of the work;

• Provide detailed information on commissioning sequence for that critical electrical and equipment of the Plant and to assist the Engineer in preparation of the overall commissioning programme in accordance with the Project Key Dates;

• Provide detailed pre-commissioning check lists, testing and commissioning procedures, acceptance criteria and standards.
   

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Electrical Engineering of related discipline;

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience;

• Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card);

• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker (Grade H for high voltage work, Grade C0 or C2 for low voltage work);

• Possession of valid certificates for Mandatory Basic Safety Training (Construction Work) etc.

• Possession of Valid driving license will be an advantage;

• Previous working experience on power plant / transmission system and public utilities will be an advantage;

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese languages. 
  

Other Information:

• Contract Period: from Nov 2026 to Jun 2028;

• Work Locations: Lamma Power Station and Hong Kong Island (assigned by HK Electric);

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 to 17:45 (including 1 hour lunch break);

• Time-off compensation will be arranged in lieu of the overtime working hours.
