REGIONAL SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (China, Vietnam & Taiwan) - manufacturer handbag & fashion accessories (Kowloon Bay)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

• We are a Hong Kong-based manufacturer of fashion accessories, including handbags, wallets, small leather goods, and other related products. 

• We operate manufacturing plants in China, Vietnam, and Taiwan. 

• Our Hong Kong office has around 100 staff and serves as the group’s head office and finance office.

• We own our own brands and are also an authorised dealer of global brands. Our main markets include the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, China, Taiwan, and Japan.

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Professional to support the accounting and finance functions of all three manufacturing plants in China, Vietnam, and Taiwan.

ROLE MISSION

• Ensure accurate financial records, timely monthly closings, tax compliance, and effective cross-border accounting for our manufacturing plants in China, Vietnam, and Taiwan.

ROLE SUMMARY

• You will join a Finance & Accounting team of 10 members. 

• You will manage full-set accounts, monthly financial reporting, inter-company transactions, cash flow, tax compliance, and audit support for the China, Vietnam, and Taiwan manufacturing entities. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain full-set accounts and daily accounting operations for the manufacturing plants in China, Vietnam, and Taiwan.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and bank reconciliations.

• Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations between Hong Kong and the China, Vietnam, and Taiwan manufacturing entities.

• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and manufacturing cost analysis.

• Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory requirements in China, Vietnam, and Taiwan.

• Prepare documents and reconciliations for internal and external audits.

• Work with local and cross-border teams to improve workflows and support management decisions.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 3–5 years of solid accounting experience.

• HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.

• Hands-on experience with full-set accounts and tax compliance for manufacturing operations in China, Taiwan or Vietnam is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of cross-border transactions, inter-company settlements, and local tax practices is preferred.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, QuickBooks, or Kingdee is an advantage.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• High integrity, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.

• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

• Good communications in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
