Improvement Works at Mui Wo, Phase 2 Stage 2

Jacobs China Limited’s consultancy services offered include feasibility studies, investigation, design, contract administration and site supervision of all areas of civil, highway, railway, geotechnical and building engineering.  Other services include asset management and risk assessment, building surveying and structural maintenance, quality assurance, conservation and restoration, project management and forensic engineering.

We are now seeking candidates to fill the following vacancies on the Resident Site Staff team for the above Contract for carrying out Construction of a building to the West of Mui Wo Ferry Pier (the Pier) to re-provision the existing cooked food market and dry good stalls, public toilet and refuse collection point, and to provide a covered cycle parking area, a covered public car park and a podium garden; This project has commenced since May 2023 and will last for approximately 54 months.  Applicants are invited for the following positions:

Candidates should have:

(i) Diploma or Higher Certificate from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/ Hong Kong Institute of Construction/ Hong Kong Institute (ii) At least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; or

(iii) At least 5 years’ relevant experience inclusive of 1 year’s relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor or equivalent in an appropriate discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook; or

(iv) At least 3 years’ relevant experience inclusive of 1 year’s relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor I or equivalent in an appropriate discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.

Candidates should have attained language proficiency requirements of Level 2[Note] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE/ HKCEE or equivalent.

Note: Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

Candidates should have minimum academic/ professional qualification requirements of the above posts.

嘉科工程顧問有限公司現招聘下列駐地盤工程人員負責上述香港特別行政區政府合約，在梅窩碼頭（碼頭）以西興建一座建築物，以重置現有的熟食市場及乾貨檔、公廁和垃圾收集站，以及提供一個有蓋單車停泊處、一個有蓋公眾停車場，一個平台花園等不同工程；工程已於二零二三年五月展開；預計大約五十四個月完成。

入職條件：申請人必須持有

(一) 香港建造業議會╱香港建造學院╱香港專業教育學院╱工業學院╱科技學院╱香港理工大學╱理工學院頒發的相關學科文憑或高級證書，或具備同等學歷；及

(二) 具有最少三年於取得有關學歷後的相關工作經驗；或

(三) 具有最少五年相關工作經驗，其中的一年在公共工程項目或在駐工地人員的管理手冊第 4.5.2 章所列出的工程項目中擔任駐地盤監工職位的相關工作經驗；或

(四) 具有最少三年相關工作經驗，其中的一年在公共工程項目或在駐工地人員的管理手冊第 4.5.2 章所列出的工程項目中擔任駐地盤一級監工職位的相關工作經驗。

申請人語文能力須具備香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第 2 級成績備註或以上，或具備同等學歷。

備註：2007 年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）C 級及 E 級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007 年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3 級和第2 級成績。
