Job Descriptions:
Establish, implement and maintan a safety management system;
Oversee all safety and health matters of the contract throughout the contract period to ensure compliance with all requirements under Particular Specification Section 27;
Advise management on measures to improve site safety;
Inspect the site to identity safety deficiencies and make recommendation for improvement;
Provide safety training to site personnel;
Conduct a site safety forum/workshop once per calendar year to maintain momentum and motivate participation of all site personnel on site safety;
Investigate accidents that occurred and make recommendation to prevent recurrence;
Develop and implement safety promotion program;
Carry out internal safety audits and safety inspections;
Prepare safety document and reports.
Job Requirements:
Degree or above in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent;
Minimum 10-15 years of practical experience as a Registered Safety Officer in construction industry;
Minimum 5 years of experience in site safety management;
Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese;
Registered Safety Auditor will be an advantage;
Must be familiar with and ensure compliance with Government legislation, regulations and/or codes of practice;
Candidate with less qualification / experience will be considered as Senior Safety Officer.
