SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER – swimwear brand owner & manufacturer (Lai Chi Kok / 5 days)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

• We are a globally connected swimwear brand owner and manufacturer, with manufacturing plants in Dongguan, China, and Vietnam.We own several swimwear brands and also create high-quality, design-led swimwear collections for well-known international brands. • We are looking for a Senior Fashion Designer – Swimwear to join our Design Team and help shape our own swimwear brands and customer collections.

ROLE MISSION

• You will play a key role in developing commercially successful swimwear collections for the Company’s own swimwear brands and international customers.

• You will translate global trends into creative designs, support the full design process from concept to final sample, and help strengthen the visual identity of our brands and customer brands.

ROLE SUMMARY

• You will report to the Fashion Design Manager and work within a Design Team of five members.

• You will lead the design development of seasonal swimwear collections, create fashion-forward designs, and work closely with merchandising, sourcing, pattern making, and sampling teams.

• You will also collaborate with international brands, present design concepts, and ensure that designs meet both creative and commercial goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Report to the Fashion Design Manager and work closely with a Design Team of five members.

• Lead the creative development of seasonal swimwear collections for the Company’s own swimwear brands and international customers.

• Translate global trends and market research into commercial designs.

• Create designs that align with the Company’s brand identities and customer requirements.

• Prepare design sketches, technical drawings, and production-ready tech packs.

• Select fabrics, trims, prints, and colour palettes with relevant teams.

• Work with pattern makers and sampling teams to develop prototypes and final samples.

• Support fittings and provide design direction to improve fit, construction, and quality.

• Present design concepts to international brands and incorporate feedback.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of collections.

• Contribute creative ideas to strengthen the Company’s swimwear brands and design capabilities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary education in Fashion Design or a related discipline.

• At least 8 years of relevant fashion design experience; of which 2+ years in swimwear design.

• Strong understanding of garment fit, fabrics, trims, and construction.

• Good knowledge of global fashion trends and commercial design.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Advantage : experience with 3D design tools, such as CLO, is a plus.

• Experience with AI-supported design workflows is a plus.

• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
