SENIOR MERCHANDISER - seasonal decoration & home decoration - Europe trading (Mongkok/5 days work)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Source and develop non‑electrical decoration products (e.g. home décor, seasonal and festive items) for the German and European market.

• Manage the full order cycle from product development and sampling through to production and shipment.

• Work closely with customers, suppliers and factories to ensure smooth order execution and on‑time delivery.

• Monitor production timelines and order status, proactively identifying and resolving potential risks to avoid delays.

• Maintain regular and proactive communication with the European Head Office and other overseas teams.

• Support cost negotiations, capacity planning and supplier performance reviews as needed.

• Report to the Merchandising Manager and collaborate within a merchandising team of five.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Diploma or above.

• Minimum 3 years’ merchandising experience in non‑electrical home décor, seasonal decorations or related consumer products.

• Strong exposure to the German market; experience working with major German discount retailers and supermarket chains is highly preferred.

• Familiar with the European market and relevant product testing and safety standards.

• Knowledge of production processes and material characteristics is a plus.

• Strong negotiation, problem‑solving and communication skills; able to work independently and take ownership of orders.

• Experience liaising directly with overseas offices or international clients.

• Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• Willing and able to travel frequently to Mainland China for factory visits and production follow‑up.
