We are looking for the following experienced professional who is capable of carrying out leadership, supervision, coordination and management work for the project of “Batch 1B, 1C Development of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park”:

Senior Resident Building Services Engineer (Ref. JD_23058SRBSE)

The minimum qualifications required for the post of Senior Resident Building Services Engineer shall be as follows:

Qualifications:

• MHKIE / CEng with 12 years' relevant post-qualification experience, including 5 years' preferably relevant site experience in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field, with a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree.

• The candidate must possess practical site experience in Building Services works, including Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as the Resident Building Services Engineer-in-Charge and the Project Building Services Engineer's lead representative on site in all aspects of supervision of building services work within the contracts and supervision of site quality.

• Supervision of the Project including guidance of the Contractors on programming, quality control and ensuring site safety.

• Liaise and coordinate with the Client and the Contractors on matters related to building services work details, materials and workmanship, statutory compliance and issues related to site progress.

• Monitor the progress of works and manage and lead the Resident Engineer / Inspector Team and specialist supervision staff on all works supervision and meeting attendance.

• Monitor and report the performance of contractors and workmanship on building services aspects.

• Provide professional advice and recommendations to the Client and Project Team on technical, construction and commissioning matters.

• Identify and manage project risks, construction challenges and quality concerns, and recommend mitigation measures.

• Prepare high-level technical reports and presentations for the Client and senior project management.

• Experience in managing resident site supervision teams for large-scale development projects.

• Provide leadership and professional support on all matters relating to Building Services works, and undertake any additional responsibilities delegated by the Client to achieve the Project's objectives and successful completion.
  
  
  
  

Employment will be on a contract basis for a period of 24 months commencing immediately with possible extension subject to works condition. The remuneration package will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and experience.
