SENIOR SALES MANAGER / HEAD OF SALES DIVISON — MNC freight forwarder (Kwai Fong)

• With a strong global network of overseas offices and agents, we support customers across major trade lanes in Asia, Europe, North America and other global markets.

• Our Hong Kong office manages sales and operations for Hong Kong and Guangdong. 

• You will join an established international freight forwarding group and lead the sales team to drive business growth across the region.

ROLE MISSION

• Reporting to the CEO of the Hong Kong office, lead the Hong Kong sales team and the Guangzhou sales team to achieve business growth, sales targets and company KPIs across Hong Kong and Guangdong. 

• Develop new freight forwarding business and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

ROLE SUMMARY

• You will oversee freight forwarding sales activities in Hong Kong and Guangdong, develop sales strategies and lead the sales teams to achieve company targets.

• You will lead a Hong Kong sales team and a Guangzhou sales team, working closely with internal departments, overseas offices and agents to generate new business, expand market coverage and maintain strong customer relationships.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead the Hong Kong sales team and the Guangzhou sales team.

• Oversee freight forwarding sales activities and business performance across Hong Kong and Guangdong.

• Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and company KPIs.

• Lead, motivate and develop the sales teams to deliver strong sales performance.

• Identify and pursue new air and sea freight forwarding business opportunities.

• Expand the customer base and strengthen market share in Hong Kong and Guangdong.

• Maintain strong relationships with key customers, overseas offices and agents.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to support business planning.

• Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, action plans and management reports.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between Hong Kong, Guangdong and overseas teams.

• Handle ad-hoc projects and management assignments as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 10+ years working experience in freight forwarding.

• 5+ years experience in a senior sales management position.

• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight forwarding services and international trade lanes.

• Proven ability to lead sales teams, drive business growth and achieve sales targets.

• Strong experience in new business development and key account management.

• Experience in managing sales budgets, action plans and sales forecasts.

• Good understanding of the freight forwarding market in Hong Kong and Guangdong.

• Strong analytical, planning, communication and negotiation skills.

• Excellent leadership, team-building and people-management skills.

• Sales-driven, proactive and able to work under pressure.

• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.

• Ability to speak one additional Asian language, such as Japanese, is a plus.

• Occasional travel to Mainland China is required.
